After 9 years working legislatively to expand nutrition practice rights I look forward to ensuring newly passed laws translate into Certified Nutrition Specialists being efficiently integrated as licensing board members, licensed practitioners and essential members of the health care community. Translating the good news and hopeful possibilities of personalized nutrition at the individual and community levels fuels my enthusiasm for ANA’s mission. Away from work I am completing my Masters in Nutrition at the University of Bridgeport, maintain an organic micro-urban farm and am passionate about local food as a driver of health, food equity, community empowerment and climate restoration.
